The M/V Sea Wolf is an 97' ocean-going ship that carries 12 passengers plus 5-6 crew in comfort. The Sea Wolf is an amazing expedition platform for small ship cruising, wildlife spotting, kayaking and Alaska whale watching. Every stateroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower. The Sea Wolf has many guest areas including a main viewing salon, covered aft viewing/dining deck and a wonderful wide bow. The aft deck is enclosed in Eisen glass with an 180-degree view and is heated. The side decks are also covered for your sightseeing comfort. Note that smoking is not permitted aboard the Sea Wolf, even on outdoor decks.
The Sea Wolf carries an extensive naturalist library for our guests to enjoy. The Sea Wolf crew, many who are local Alaskans, are all fun, knowledgeable and eager to share their naturalist lore and stories. The Sea Wolf is equipped with 6 double kayaks for guests and 2 guide kayaks. It also has an 18-foot Rigid inflatable for shore excursions. The Sea Wolf is an incredibly stable vessel for a wonderful small ship cruising adventure.
Meals Aboard Sea Wolf
The dedicated Sea Wolf crew believes in supporting local businesses, growers and fisherman. Its salmon, halibut, spot prawns and Dungeness crab are all harvested in Southeast Alaska by local fishermen. There is nothing better than wild Alaska salmon, right off the hook halibut or Dungeness crabs straight from the crab pot to the steamer to your plate! Sea Wolf chefs try to use mostly fresh and organic produce and most baked goods are prepared on board. They can cater to most any special diets (with advance notice): vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and low-fat. Wine and beer are served complimentary with dinner.
Accessible Adventure Cruises Aboard Sea Wolf
A cruise on the Sea Wolf can be a unique opportunity for passengers with and without disabilities to experience remote wilderness up close and share the unique bond that comes of living that close to the elements together. Thanks to a recent remodel, the Sea Wolf is now able to carry individuals of most abilities. With the decks being widened to 32 inches, having three of six staterooms wheelchair visitable, and two lifts installed for circulation between the three decks, all public areas are accessible making it the perfect ship for everyone. Having a crew that is competent and sensitive related to the individuality of ones needs, this boat and an itinerary is enthusiastically recommend to any paraplegic with good upper body strength or quad with a trustworthy companion, a sense of adventure and the ability to be comfortable in a manual wheelchair.
