The Safari Legacy, formerly the Spirit of 98, returns to the Alaska cruising fleet in 2013. The ambiance aboard this newly refurbished 88-guest boat emulates an early Victorian steamer with carved wooden cabinetry and a Grand Salon complete with a dance floor, full bar and old-world charm. Exquisitely appointed with period decor and a costumed crew with storytellers among them, Safari Legacy is a perfect complement to its history-steeped itineraries along Alaska's coast.

Common Areas Aboard Safari Legacy
Safari Legacy features an intimate wine bar and reading library, hot tub, sauna, fitness equipment, yoga classes and massage suite (complete with a complimentary massage). An included bar is stocked with premium spirits, fine wines and microbrews.

The Safari Legacy's four decks provide ample outside viewing opportunities and relaxing public spaces for gathering with newfound friends. Enjoy a flatscreen TV in the main salon, as well as a dance floor. There is elevator access to all decks.
