Located in Costa Rica’s Tilarán Mountain Range at 4,600 ft. above sea level on the edge of the world's best-known cloud forest, Monteverde Lodge is the expression of the ultimate lodging experience for the discerning nature and adventure traveler. Many of our guests find that their most enjoyable time in Costa Rica is spent in the Monteverde Lodge gardens. Native plants replicating the nearby cloud forest environment, a running stream, pond and small waterfall provide a habitat for riverine birds and a host of reptiles and amphibians. Serenity pervades throughout the gardens. Monteverde Lodge is a pioneer in recycling and low impact energy consumption in the Monteverde Cloud Forest region. The community has followed Monteverde Lodge’s example of recycling and lower electrical consumption—thus conserving resources for all of Costa Rica.
