We are pleased to announce the M/V Eclipse has obtained certification under the Rainforest Alliance "Smartvoyager" program. After a detailed audit on the environmental, social and safety aspects of the M/V Eclipse, the Smartvoyager Certification was granted to the vessel on the 5th November, 2007.

The Small Ship Eclipse preserves a small boat atmosphere and offers features such as a spacious dining room and shaded ‘al fresco’ dining area, international cuisine, naturalist guide for every 12 passengers, lounge, library/video room, dip pool, jacuzzi, deck bar, souvenir shop, topside sun deck and an infirmary with a medical doctor on board at all times. Also stocked with snorkel equipment and kayaks for your enjoyment.
A fully air-conditioned and extremely roomy and comfortable ship, the Eclipse’s large cabins have either a double or twin bed arrangement with ocean view windows on the boat deck and ocean view portholes on the main deck. She offers cabins for single travelers, a rare option in the Galapagos. Each cabin has a large closet, writing table, individual climate control and spacious bathroom with hairdryer.
There is a well-equipped lounge for relaxation and for the nightly briefings on the day's discoveries and the following day's activities. In addition to the elegant indoor dining room, there is an al fresco dining area located around the pool, where you can enjoy the islands' spectacular scenery over a delicious lunch. There is also has a well-stocked library for quiet study and reading.
