Ancient Maya Cities, Anasazi pictographs, Inca temples and Athabascan fish traps are just a few examples of archeological exploration you can expect on our adventures. We believe that ancient sites and indigenous cultures are an essential component of any exploration. Without an understanding of an areas history we cannot fully appreciate its value and meanings. While true archeological research is not the primary focus or our adventures these explorations add an interesting and important element to your understanding of the destination. These sites are often surrounded by wilderness and successful interpretation creates a connection between the areas inhabitants and its nature.
