Climate in the
Caribbean and
Virgin Islands
can best be described by two words, “endless summer”. Subtropical
temperatures vary little throughout the year with relatively low humidity,
making the
Caribbean climate perfect for year round travel. Daily and
yearly temperatures fluctuate between 70 and 90 degrees F. Like summers
in North America - June, July and August tend to be the warmest months with
highs in the 80’s while December through February are the cooler months with
highs in the 70’s.
Caribbean water temperature also remains consistent throughout the
year ranging between 79 and 83 degrees. The
Virgin Islands
and
Caribbean do not have a pronounced rainy season, however there are
monthly variations. The wettest months in the
Virgin Islands
are, in order of wetness: November, October, September, August and May.
