Coral Princess II was commissioned in July 1996. Following her 2013 refurbishment she's even better equipped for the ultimate Great Barrier Reef cruising experience. Recent renovations include a fully refurbished sun deck, new flooring, stylish new teak furnishings and improved sun protection. Australian flagged, registered and staffed, Coral Princess II was purpose-built for cruising in Australia and is the ideal size to access the very best parts of Western Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.
Common Areas Aboard Coral Princess II
The ship’s spacious lounge is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink from the cocktail bar in air-conditioned comfort, and features a comprehensive reference library and plasma screens. The large Sun Deck is another popular place to relax and take in the sights, with comfortable deck chairs, stylish teak furnishings and a large spa pool. You will also enjoy the opportunity to dine al fresco under the magnificent stars over the Great Barrier Reef. A gift shop, limited laundry facilities, phone and fax facilities, and a SCUBA diving department are also available.
Coral Princess II operates an open bridge policy, allowing you to spend time with the Captain and his maritime crew as you cruise. Follow your trip's progression on the ship’s charts and chat with Captain, or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery. Dining Aboard Coral Princess II
Meals are served in the modern dining room, and with space for all guests to dine during one sitting and no assigned seating, meal times are a great opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers. Breakfast and lunch are buffet-style, and dinner is a combination of buffet and table service. Coffee and tea is available on a 24-hour basis. Meal times will be advised in the onboard daily bulletins. Coral Princess II strives to accommodate guests with special dietary requirements; however a minimum of two weeks notice is required. Please note that liquor licenses do not allow guests to bring their own alcohol aboard. The ship's bar stocks a range of Australian and New Zealand wines, and two fully stocked cocktail bars are available.
Cabins Aboard Coral Princess II
The 22 onboard rooms feature traditional maritime stylings with wood-panelled walls. You can choose between double- and twin-bedded rooms, each fully equipped with a spacious private ensuite, air conditioning and ample storage space. All rooms feature large picture windows, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the spectacular scenery. Enjoy the comforts of the spacious en suite bathroom, featuring hairdryer, international power outlets, shower, vanity unit and toilet facilities. Rooms also feature picture windows for expansive ocean views (except some Cabin category rooms featuring portholes), ample storage space and air-conditioning. All rooms are serviced daily and feature luxurious Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.
Four Deluxe Staterooms are located at the stern of B Deck, in close proximity to the Bridge and the full length Sun Deck and spa pool. Deluxe Staterooms are a spacious 162 square feet in size and feature picture windows for expansive ocean views along with a comfortable settee, desk, ample storage space and your choice of double or twin beds.
Upper Deck Stateroom
Nine Upper Deck Staterooms are located on Deck B, a dedicated accommodation deck offering a quiet environment, yet still in close proximity to the Bridge, Sun Deck and Dining Room. Upper Deck Staterooms are a spacious 151 square feet in size and feature picture windows for expansive ocean views along with a desk, ample storage space and your choice of double or twin beds.
Four Stateroom category rooms are located midship on Deck C, close to the Dining Room and our Glass Bottom Boat boarding platform. Stateroom category rooms are ideal for those wishing to avoid stairs. At 151 square feet in size Staterooms offer plenty of space to relax and feature picture windows for expansive ocean views along with a desk, ample storage space and your choice of double or twin beds
Perfectly suited to those guests on a budget, Cabin category rooms are located close to the bow of the ship on Deck C, close to the Dining Room and our Glass Bottom Boat boarding platform. Cabin category rooms feature comfortable furnishings and are sized from 141 to 151 square feet in size. Cabins feature picture windows for expansive ocean views, air-conditioning, ample storage space and twin beds.
