Cruise to the Galapagos Islands aboard the 40-passenger Yacht Isabela II, one of the most luxurious motor yachts in the Galapagos Islands. The Yacht Isabela II offers an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere for experiencing the full adventure of the Galapagos Islands. The Isabela II Galapagos small ship cruise visits San Cristobal, Genovesa Island, Santiago Island, Santa Cruz, Isabela and Fernandina Island.

The Yacht Isabella II offers the efficiency and intimacy of a smaller yacht yet retains the luxury and amenities of a small ship cruise. She is the perfect size for travelers seeking the ultimate in comfort and adventure. Three expert naturalists lead daily hikes and snorkeling, to point out finches, boobies, sea lions, tortoise and more incredible Galapagos wildlife. Onboard the Yacht Isabela II expect excellent service, comfortable cabins, fine dining, sundeck bar, Jacuzzi, snorkeling and a glass-bottom boat.

Most Galapagos cruise travelers will require pre and post cruise accommodations in Ecuador, round trip flights, National Park entrance fees & transit cards etc. Choose our Galapagos Cruise Package or work with our experts on a Custom Galapagos Tour. See trip notes for more details.

Yacht Isabela II Galapagos Cruise Itineraries

The Yacht Isabela II operates one 7 day/6 night itinerary and two unique 5 day/4 night itineraries. When combined consecutively these cruises equal a 15 day/14 night Galapagos cruise with no repeated landing sites. The shorter itineraries can also be combined in various ways to create 9, 11 or 15 day cruises.

For your assistance we have put together a handy guide: How to choose your Galapagos Cruise

Accommodations Aboard: The Isabela II accommodates 40 guests, has comfortable, well-appointed cabins and many on-board amenities. The crew is comprised of the captain, multilingual naturalist guides, barman/waiter, cook, engineer and deckhands. All meals are prepared and served by the crew on board. Qualifications: This trip will be enjoyed by anyone who is in good health and leads an active life. Daily excursions from the boat to the islands will be made in pangas (dinghies). Trip members will hike from the landing point to specific areas for wildlife observation. Hiking time for most landings will be a couple of hours round trip with lots of time to stop to study, photograph and enjoy the flora and fauna. Some landings are dry but many are "wet", requiring cautious footing on slippery rocks. The boat staff will be on hand to assist. There are numerous opportunities to swim and snorkel.

Snorkeling: The underwater experience is an integral part of any Galapagos cruise. We encourage all travelers to try snorkeling. Snorkeling gear is included for the duration of the cruise. Shortie wet suits are also available for rent and are recommended from June to December.
