Day 1 - SAT - Sitka, Peril Straits
Applaud a performance in Sitka By the renowned NaKaHidi dancers and a fully-narrated “Sea Otter & Wildlife Quest” in Sitka Sound. Your jet boat will rendezvous with the Admiralty Dream in a protected cove for a sage, easy transfer to your cruise vessel. After getting settled in your cabin, meet in the Vista View Lounge for an eventful evening of welcome aboard activities followed by a gourmet dinner in the Admiralty Dining Room.

Day 2 - SUN - Frederick Sound, Kake & Waterfall Coast
Cruise the east coast of Baranof Island where you’ll spot Humpback whales and other marine wildlife in Chatham Strait. A Tlingit elder and Tlingit dancers will come on board to greet guests and provide a brief history. Highlights include the “World’s Largest Totem”, observe an authentic carving demonstration, and visiting the Gunnuk Creek Dog Salmon Hatchery Tour & Bear Viewing Platform.

Day 3 - MON - Petersburg
Petersburg is a fishing town established by Norwegian fishermen in the late 1800’s. At the Sons of Norway Hall, enjoy a Norwegian Folk Dance show performed by Petersburg’s children. You will have time on your own to take a short walk to Eagle Park, explore Sing Lee Alley, or shop downtown.

Day 4 - TUE - Hobart Bay
Enjoy exclusive access to Hobart Bay, our own adventure base camp, outfitted with sea kayaks, small outboard driven Zego runabouts, and all-terrain vehicles. Experience an overnight camping excursion at one of our tented areas of Hobart Bay.

Day 5 - WED - Tracy Arm

Day 6 - THR - Juneau & Orca Point Lodge
Highlights of the scenic state capital include the Mendenhall Glacier and Mount Roberts Tram. We’ll depart Juneau to Colt Island and go ashore for an Alaskan salmon and king crab dinner.

Day 7 - FRI - Glacier Bay National Park
A Glacier Bay National Park Service Ranger leads our programming and a Native interpretive naturalist joins us to reveal traditional ties to this ancient treasure.

Day 8 - SAT - Disembark in Sitka
Early arrival into Sitka for breakfast and disembarkation. Those with early flights are transferred to the airport. Those with later flights or staying over at local hotels may join a post cruise shore excursion in Sitka guided by the Expedition Leader. Walk up to Castle Hill (site of the transfer ceremony of Alaska from Russian to USA in 1867) is followed by a visit to St Michael’s Cathedral, the Russian Orthodox Church that has been at the center of Sitka for nearly two hundred years. Enjoy an exclusive showing guided by a layperson who will explain the numerous and historical icons and basis of the Russian church in Alaska’s history.

Arrival/Departure: We highly recommend arriving Sitka one day prior to embarkation in case of any flight delay, cancellation, or lost luggage issues. This cruise includes a morning tour of the Russian Bishop house at 9:00am. If arriving on day of departure plan flights to arrive no later than 8:00am to include the tour or no later than 12:30pm to embark the ship at 1:00pm. Plan outbound flights any time after 9:30am.
Payment and Cancellation Policy:
A deposit of $500.00 is required to secure a reservation. We request receipt of your deposit within five (5) business days of your reservation. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of deposit. Final payment of 100% of passage fare is required 60 days from the date of your cruise departure or at the time of the reservation if made less than 60 days from departure via credit card or personal check. If payment is not received in time reserved space may be released with a rebooking subject to space availability.
Cancellations of reserved space for any reason are subject to the
following cancellation fee schedule:
90 days or more prior to departure date: $250.00
89 - 61 days prior to departure date: $500.00
60 - 31 days prior to departure date: 50% of full fare
30 - 0 days prior to departure date: 100% of full fare

The range of cabin categories is one of the widest in our fleet, ranging from lower-deck inside cabins to Deluxe and AAA categories with picture windows and a TV monitor/VCR. All staterooms offer private facilities and air conditioning.
Glacier Bay Tour: Please note that because of Glacier Bay National Park permits, some departures will cruise into Glacier Bay aboard the Admiralty Dream, while others will utilize the Glacier Bay Day Tour boat. The Glacier Bay Day Tour boat, the Baranof Wind, is a 149 passenger high speed catamaran operating a seven hour glacier cruise that begins and ends in Bartlett Cove. Cruise departures that utilize the Baranof Wind include 6/2/12, 6/16/12, 6/23/12, 6/30/12, 7/28/12, 8/11/12). Please contact our Alaska cruise experts for more information.
