The 2012 Glacier Bay Quest cruise, aboard the 78 passenger Admiral Dream, explores Juneau, Glacier Bay National Park and Sitka. This short three day cruise is designed for travelers with limited time, but still want to cover the three main attractions of Southeast Alaska.

Beginning with a tour of the Mendenhall Glacier and Mt Roberts Tramway in Juneau, you'll spend a full day of cruising in Glacier Bay National Park before ending with the heritage of Sitka. The Glacier Bay Quest is the perfect small ship cruise to combine with an Alaska land adventure.

Day 1 - Juneau

Set off for Mendenhall Glacier and tour the Visitors Center exhibits and trails. Then sightsee downtown Juneau for independent exploration or an optional excursion. Ride the tram to the top of Mount Roberts where high alpine trails offer dazzling views–your ticket is included!

Day 2 - Glacier Bay

Cruise up close to the face of one tidewater glacier after another in this renowned World Heritage Site. Hear “white thunder” as an iceberg “calves” and then splashes into the bay. Immerse in the True Alaska as a Glacier Bay National Park Service Ranger leads on board enrichment and a Native interpretive naturalist shares Tlingit ties to this astounding Alaskan treasure.

Day 3 - Sitka

Spend time exploring Sitka’s popular attractions: totem poles at Sitka National Historical Park, Russian Bishops house, St. Michaels Cathedral, NaKaHikdi dancers and Castle Hill. Transfer to the airport is included.

Single/Triple Travelers: Single supplement rates are 150% of the double occupancy rate. Single supplement rates are capacity controlled and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Third & Fourth Person: 30% off double occupancy rate.

Child Rates (15 years and younger): 30% off double occupancy rate. Children under 2 are free.

Cost Includes: Selected guest cabin facilities, All meals aboard the vessel or where otherwise indicated, Selected shore excursions as indicated in itinerary, Ground transportation to and from the vessel and airport or hotel within Sitka, AK, Use of recreational equipment at Hobart Bay, All standard onboard services.

Arrival/Departure: This trip begins in Juneau and ends in Sitka, Alaska. We highly recommend arriving Juneau one day prior to embarkation as to provide room for error with any flight delay, cancellation, or lost luggage issues.

Arriving Juneau the day of cruise: 
A representative will meet you at the Juneau Airport.
 
After your luggage is obtained, transfer to the ship. Arriving no later then 2:00 p.m.

Arriving Juneau the day prior to the cruise - A representative will meet you at the Juneau Airport.
 
After your luggage is attained, transfer to your hotel. The next days activities are as follows:
9:00 a.m. A representative will meet you at your hotel and transfer your luggage to the ship.
9:15 – 11:45 a.m. Enjoy the morning exploring downtown Juneau including complimentary tickets to experience the Mt. Roberts Tramway
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Meet at the Baranof Hotel for lunch
1:15 – Meet at Baranof Hotel to transfer to ship at Auke Bay via the Mendenhall Glacier and Visitors Center.
4:00 p.m. – Ship sails from Auke Bay.

The earliest flight out of Sitka departs at 12:50pm. Schedule outbound flights accordingly.

Payment and Cancellation Policy: A deposit of $500.00 is required to secure a reservation. We request receipt of your deposit within five (5) business days of your reservation. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of deposit. Final payment of 100% of passage fare is required 60 days from the date of your cruise departure or at the time of the reservation if made less than 60 days from departure via credit card or personal check. If payment is not received in time reserved space may be released with a rebooking subject to space availability.

Cancellations of reserved space for any reason are subject to the following cancellation fee schedule:
90 days or more prior to departure date: $250.00
89 - 61 days prior to departure date: $500.00
60 - 31 days prior to departure date: 50% of full fare
30 - 0 days prior to departure date: 100% of full fare
