by Site Administrator

Sister yachts Eric, Letty and Flamingo will soon have a new sibling sailing the Galapagos Islands: the 20-guest Origin. Set to launch in January 2015, the Origin is one of three new yachts operator Ecoventura plans to introduce to their fleet.

Preliminary information released shows per-person double-occupancy rates starting at $5995, with triple-cabin rates available for $5795. Cruise fares aboard Origin are set to include cabin accommodation, all meals and snacks, all beverages including open bar, Captain’s welcome and farewell party, guided shore excursions, cruise director, use of wetsuits, snorkeling equipment and sea kayaks, and transfers in the Islands between the airport and dock.

Four decks feature numerous social spaces, including a fitness center, spa and top-level sundeck with bar and lounge seating. The Darwin Deck is home to 10 cabins, accommodating double, triple and single occupancy, as well as an outdoor Jacuzzi and library. The Finch Deck features an outdoor BBQ for al fresco dining, as well as an indoor dining room with gourmet cuisine and a lounge.

Origin is scheduled to operate two 8-day itineraries, a southern/central route and a western/northern route.
