Trip Reviews

OVERALL: 5 stars ACCOMMODATIONS: 5 stars MEALS: 4 stars

Overall Trip Review

Great trip! Loved the boat, itinerary, crew, and Galapagos sites. Better than even imagined. Best parts were: Flamingo lagoon and beach - totally beautiful. Baby seals everywhere. The landscape on different islands. Highland trip on Floreana. New Year's Eve on San Cristobal.

Accommodations Review

Odyssey was a great boat. Really liked having only 16 people on board, as it made getting to activities very easy and quick. Boat was comfortable, clean and well-maintained.

Meals Review

Food was good but basic. Always a good selection and prepared well.

Crew & Guides Review

Christian, the guide/naturalist, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable but low-key in providing information and getting everyone to the activities. Provided guidance without being overly controlling or inflexible. Had a good store of local knowledge and information about the places and animals. Very easy to talk to and always showed the utmost concern about client safety and comfort without being intrusive. He was a big part of why it was such a great trip.

Traveler Advice

Bring lots of sunscreen. Leave the iPhone behind and enjoy the quiet and adventure.
