The Bay Area Travel & Adventure Show will be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center, 5001 Great American Pkwy., Santa Clara, CA 95054. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16. Tickets are $15 for adults. Children 16 and under may attend free. Featured presenters will be Pauline Frommer, creator of Pauline Frommer Guidebooks, and Jennifer Bagget, a travel journalist and co-author of The Lost Girls. Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show

The Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center (West Hall), 1201 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015. This show is open to trade only from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 19 and to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Mar. 19 and Mar. 20. Parking (West Hall parking) is $12 a day (no in-out parking). General admission is $10. Advance purchase tickets are $8. Travel agents and children 16 and under with an adult are free. More than 500 exhibitors will be promoting their destinations and tours. Highlights include trip giveaways, cultural entertainment and presentations by travel experts Rick Steves and Arthur and Pauline Frommer.
