The 9-day retreat features Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, offering a rare opportunity to view the lava floes of an active volcano, as well as Corcovado National Park, home to abundant rain forest wildlife and remote Pacific beaches. Professional naturalist guides lead rain forest walks and a river expedition features the region's natural beauty and wildlife including a chance to view monkeys, sloths, iguana, parrots and toucans. At Corcovado National Park amid the tropical rain forest, sits comfortable thatched roof bungalows each with its own private bathroom and deck overlooking the surrounding jungle. At Arenal Volcano, the lodge is set safely at the base of the volcano with spectacular views from each spacious bungalow. The wellness center features an open-sky deck that hangs over the rain forest hillside. Prices range from $2,350 to $2,550 per person, depending on group size. An optional 3-day add on is available to Manuel Antonio National Park, one of the smallest and most diverse parks in Costa Rica. The optional add on is $700 per person and also features a guided boat excursion to Isla Damas to explore its complex estuaries, mangroves and unique wildlife habitat.
