Beginning in late April, a celebrity cast of photographers and guest speakers from the annals of wilderness, wildlife and travel photography and natural history will conduct onboard workshops and special field events. Northwest Passage History - West to East - Starts in Anchorage / Ends in Ottawa
A July 18 departure bound for the Northwest Passage is aboard Kapitan Khelbnikov on its final voyage. Naval historian and best-selling author Andrew Lambert conducted some of his research aboard this ice cutter and he will be back on board to talk about his book, The Gates of Hell: Sir John Franklin's Tragic Quest for the Northwest Passage.
