Located in Puerto Velasco Ibarra, the Red Mangrove Floreana Lodge is built entirely from pine wood harvested sustainably from renewable tree farms in mainland Ecuador. The incredible location amongst black lava fields at water's edge on Floreana Island is ideally positioned for independent hikes and snorkeling.
10 independent cabins are each equipped with a full-size bed and bunk beds able to host up to 4 people each. Each cabin has its own bathroom, front porch and reading and shade areas to provide for privacy and enjoyment of the outdoors in this tranquil seaside setting. Reading lamps, clock radio, hot water, night tables and imported sheets are in each room. Floreana Island is the least populated of the Galapagos Islands; a total of inhabitants of 150 live mainly in Puerto Velasco Ibarra.
