North America Alaska Cruise

Prince William Sound Dream Catcher

The Prince William Sound Dream Catcher is a custom charter cruise perfect for families and small groups. The relatively small size of the family-owned Dream Catcher, 12 guests, allows for great maneuverability to get closer and stay longer than is possible aboard a larger ship. The Dream Catcher explores Alaska’s Prince William Sound, located well north of the more well-traveled cruise routes of Alaska’s Inside Passage.

Prince William Sound sits between Whittier and Cordova, east of Anchorage, which is a great nearby launch pad for those with travel plans to Denali, Katmai or Kenai National Parks. Alaska’s Prince William Sound boasts a rare combination of diverse wildlife and dramatic scenery, making it the ideal location for small ship cruising. Here sea otters frolic among the waves, mountains rise from the sea and thousands of glaciers litter the landscape. On this Prince William Sound Dream Catcher itinerary, take a skiff to view striking tidewater glaciers as huge portions of their ice break free and fall into the sea, creating thunderous claps and rolling waves. Prince William Sound is home to orca and gray whales, dall porpoise, harbor seals, sea lions, sea otters, black and occasional brown bears, bald eagles, herons, and a large variety of puffins.

Actively explore the remote areas that this Alaskan family is excited to share with you. Kayak among the icebergs and into hundreds of secluded coves, narrow passages and tiny bays. Beachcomb the shores full of rich history and remnants from a forgotten Alaskan era. Berry pick (season dependent) along many of the beaches, and catch your dinner right from the Dream Catcher. Each day is full of wonder and joy.

The small ship Dream Catcher is available only as one of our private Alaska yacht charters with accommodation for up to 12 guests. Most trips follow the outlined itinerary from Whittier, but the Captain can accommodate requests by charter to customize a cruise to meet your desires, making this an ideal option among our Alaska family cruises.
