Remote Alaska Adventure

On this 10-day Alaska small ship cruise, experience amazing wildlife viewing, beautiful wilderness areas and charming communities aboard a premier expedition vessel with a unique Alaska legacy–the 12-guest Kruzof Explorer. Highlights include the natural hot springs at Baranof Warm Springs, Glacier Bay National Park, Tracy Arm and an off-the-beaten-path route featuring western Prince of Wales Island. Cruise southeast Alaska between Ketchikan and Glacier Bay in search of whales, bears, mountain goats and eagles, all within breathtaking scenery. Along the way, discover three distinct Native cultures, including the Tlingit, Haida & Tsimshian–communities living among the least-traveled places in Alaska.

Passage on this remote Alaska adventure is aboard former Bering Sea crab boat Kruzof Explorer. She carries a sport fishing vessel, high-speed Zodiac, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards to get up close with Alaska’s nature. Opportunities to utilize these expedition crafts will occur frequently throughout the 10-day voyage. A sport fishing vessel is also available, which offers guests a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hook Alaska’s world-renowned salmon and other species. The Kruzof Explorer offers luxury Alaska cruises and is an ideal ship for private Alaska yacht charters and Alaska family cruises due to her small size.
