Europe Mediterranean Cruise

The Adriatic Odyssey

The 8-day Adriatic Odyssey cruise explores four countries in one week: Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Greece. Cruise the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea on this exciting voyage of discovery, unraveling the wonders of this treasured Mediterranean coastline. Choose from round-trip Dubrovnik departures, or sail between Athens and Dubrovnik either northbound or southbound. All sailings are aboard the 34-guest yacht Callisto, which offers a boutique style and high standard of small ship cruising.

Each day discover a new port of call, a hidden cove with cooling crystal-blue waters, glimpses of ancient history and rich cultural diversity. Daily optional activities allow you to explore with a guided group or on your own, making this Mediterranean cruise as relaxing or active as you want it to be.

Tick three UNESCO World Heritage sites off your list with optional tours through the city of Dubrovnik in Croatia; Corfu, known as the Grand Lady of the Ionian Islands and the greenest island in Greece; and Butrint in Saranda, Albania, an impressive, recently discovered archaeological site. Navigate through the deepest natural fjord in the Mediterranean: the Bay of Kotor. Explore Venetian architecture and Budva’s cultural heritage in Montenegro, and swim in the crystal-clear waters near Paxos Island, where a troubled Poseidon once sought peace and quiet.

Beautiful swim spots grace your mornings, while hiking and walking explorations fill the afternoons. Optional daily activities may be added on to the voyage at an additional price, or simply enjoy time in port on your own. Whether you relax on board, meander through culturally rich towns or adventure on optional daily excursions, you’ll experience the best of the Adriatic and Ionian Seas.

Round-trip Dubrovnik and Athens-Dubrovnik northbound/southbound departures are similar, but have their own unique stops including Antipaxi, the smallest of the Ionian Islands, and the charming Greek island of Aegina. Call the experts at AdventureSmith Explorations for recommendations on which itinerary or activities may best suit your travel interests during the Adriatic Odyssey and to book your Mediterranean small ship cruise of a lifetime!

Travel on board 34-guest Callisto, an elegant and charming motor yacht known for her “boutique” style that offers the highest standard of accommodation, comfort and safety. For these reasons, the Callisto is an AdventureSmith favorite for private charter cruises.
