Classical Greece Cruise

On this spectacular 8-day Classical Greece small ship cruise, explore the beautiful Cyclades, Kea, Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Hydra, Nafplion, Monemvassia and the UNESCO-protected archaeological isle of Delos. The 44-guest Harmony G and 49-guest Harmony V yachts provide a congenial balance between conventional cruising and private yachting.

Swim in the Aegean Sea, roam leisurely through charming towns, choose fascinating optional activities that allow you to explore with a guided group. Every day on this Classical Greece cruise adds an element of history, nature and charm.

At the archaeological site of Delos and the Delos Museum, view magnificent sculpts, mosaics and clay cases from prehistoric periods. In Santorini, learn why the volcanic caldera created and destroyed the Minoan civilization. See the juxtaposition of modernity and old charm at the lively port of Rethymnon, Crete, and give praise to Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, on the peaceful island of Kythira. Discover fortified towns from medieval times and tour Nafplion, one of the most picturesque cities in Greece. Complete your tour at the walled fortress of King Agamemnon in Mycenae and explore the national monument island of Hydra, an unspoiled and interesting Greek island.

Each day swim in crystal blue waters, absorb the amazing history and be surrounded by the richness of Greek culture. Optional daily activities may be added on to the voyage at an additional price, or simply enjoy time in port on your own. No matter the pace of your small ship cruise, expect to experience Classical Greece in style. Call the experts at AdventureSmith Explorations for recommendations on which activities may best suit your travel interests and book your Greek trip of a lifetime!

Passage is aboard mega-yacht sister ships Harmony G and Harmony V. Enjoy each day in various welcoming spaces including the bar, lounge, dining area and outdoor Sun Deck, plus an easy swim step for plunging into the turquoise waters. These vessels are each an AdventureSmith favorite for private charter cruises due to their high-end feel and private yacht size.

Activities

Activities aboard include swimming, fishing and snorkeling from the vessel, and may include kayaking. Shore excursions are not included in this cruise’s listed rates. This helps keep the cruise fare low while providing flexibility for guests to choose the tours they wish or to explore independently. Shore excursions are available per the cruise schedule and ports of call visited. Contact an AdventureSmith Specialist for the most up-to-date information regarding shore excursions prior to departure. Details are also available upon embarkation in your cabin and are reviewed daily by the onboard Cruise Coordinator. We find that most guests prefer to wait until they are on board to purchase shore excursions to take advantage of local conditions. Shore excursions are subject to shore and weather conditions and based on a minimum participation.

Room Configuration

Single travelers wishing to book a double-occupancy cabin may do so at a 60% supplement of the per-person listed rate in select cabins upon availability. Third person rates are available at 30% reduction of the double occupancy rate (Category C aboard Harmony G, Category A aboard Harmony V).

Families & Children

2020 child discounts vary by ship; contact AdventureSmith for available discounts on your departure. For 2021 departures, the following policy applies: Families with children 5-17 years old are eligible for the following special offers, upon request and on first-come, first-served basis. For a single parent with 1 or 2 children in the same cabin, the parent pays the Single cruise fare and children cruise for free. For a couple with 1 child sharing the same cabin, a child 5-10 years old is free and a child 11-17 years old receives a 50% fare reduction. For a couple with 2 or 3 children, both cabins will be charged at the Single cruise fare. Port charges are not discounted and apply for all passengers, but optional excursions for children are offered at a 25% reduction.
