South America Amazon Land Tour

Ecuador Amazon Adventure – Napo Wildlife Center

Discover Ecuador’s Amazon from Napo Wildlife Center, a luxury eco-hotel and ecotourism project that includes the conservation of over 82 square miles of the most pristine Amazon rainforest within Yasunì National Park, which is an important UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the largest tract of tropical rainforest in Ecuador. Since 2003 the lodge has been recognized by both guests and the media for its impeccable operation, service and experiences provided to all visitors.

Napo’s luxury thatch-roofed huts overlook a remote lake. A 120-foot high observation tower provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding wilderness. Excursions start early each day and include visits to the thriving parrot clay licks, where a total of 11 species of parrots, parakeets and macaws can be seen; the Kichwa community of Añangu to share time with a local family; and a 118-foot canopy tower on the Napo River, where flocks of colorful tanagers pass right through the canopy of the trees and spider monkeys search for fruit in nearby trees.

Choose from a 4- or 5-day journey, or extend your stay with a custom adventure up to 8 days. Read on for details about this trip, or view all of AdventureSmith’s Amazon rainforest tours.
