Further explore the lake’s shores seeking out turtles, herons and caiman, and later in the day, visit a canopy tower near 100 feet tall and 300 steps up. The canoe trip upstream reveals the overwhelming beauty of this aquatic jungle world. In the afternoon, head over into the heart of the Yasuni to blackwater lake Jatun Cocha. Here there will be opportunities for walking and paddling and watching the giant otters, amazing water mammals and an endangered species.
